Empowering newly arrived Haitian immigrants with vital mental health resources and community connections
On Saturday, July 19, Lakay Accès Santé Inc. had the honor of participating in a community health event hosted by Interfaith-RISE in Vineland, NJ.
We delivered an essential workshop to a group of nearly 40 newly arrived Haitian immigrants, focusing on:
During the session, we also shared vital information about local community resources, including where to access culturally and linguistically appropriate health and social services.
"We are proud to support our Haitian brothers and sisters as they navigate life in a new country, and we thank Interfaith-RISE for creating this welcoming space for community connection, education, and empowerment."
Together, we're building healthier, stronger communities—one conversation at a time.
The workshop was filled with meaningful interactions, learning moments, and community connections. Our team was able to engage directly with participants, answer questions, and provide personalized guidance on accessing mental health resources.
