Having grown up in Cap-Haitian,
Dr. Dwight ST. FLEUR is a well-trained physician with more than 13 years of practice experience in the county of Limbé (north of Haiti). Conscientious and dedicated to his community, he has been working as a general physician at Bon Samaritan Hospital in Limbé, since 2009. During this time, he was also the site manager of the HIV clinic for International Child Care (ICC) first (2012-2014), and later (2014-2015) for the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB). He has been engaged in several community initiatives to improve primary healthcare access in the community.
Dr. ST. FLEUR obtained his medical degree in 2009 from the State University of Haiti and
received some special training in the management of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis particularly
with I-Tech, NASTAD, and CDC.

Mrs. Adestinee Tina Nazaire was born in Haiti and immigrated to the U.S. in 2008. She attended Montclair State University in New Jersey where she received her bachelor’s degree of Arts in French with a concentration in Translation in 2016. Her passion for kids and education led her to work in this field for nearly a decade, namely with the Jewish Community Center and Cresthaven Academy. Mrs. Nazaire’s commitment to continue impacting her community through education forced her to embrace another path in her
career by obtaining a master’s degree from the same university in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education. She has been serving LAKAY ACCES SANTE with care and compassion in the secretary role since its foundation.know more about our Secretary

Henricles Jeudy, originally from Haiti, is an exceptional Medical Doctor (M.D.) and public health professional, deeply committed to advancing health equity and improving community health outcomes. He earned his M.D. from the Escuela Latino Americana de Medicina in Cuba and later enhanced his expertise with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree specializing in Health Management and Policy, along with a Graduate Certificate in Maternal and Child Health from Georgia State University (GSU).
After completing his medical training, Henricles returned to Haiti in 2013, where he served as a
primary care provider and led various health initiatives aimed at delivering sustainable and affordable healthcare to underserved populations. His notable work includes managing antiretroviral clinics and coordinating significant projects funded by The Global Fund and USAID, which focused on strengthening healthcare systems and preventing the spread of HIV and tuberculosis. In recognition of his impactful work, Henricles was awarded a prestigious Fulbright scholarship to pursue his MPH at GSU, where he continued to excel in his commitment to public health. Following his graduation in 2023, he made a profound impact at CentraCare in Minnesota, bridging cultural and socioeconomic gaps between the Hispanic community and healthcare services. He now continues his influential work as an ORISE Fellow with the CDC’s Division of HIV Prevention, focusing on the social determinants of health. We are thrilled to welcome Henricles Jeudy to the Lakay Access Sante (LAS) team. His extensive experience, passion for serving underserved communities, and dedication to reducing health disparities will be invaluable as we work together to improve health outcomes for Haitian immigrants and beyond.

Yvenson Metelus is an accomplished professional specializing in organizational communication and sustainable development. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication and Sustainable Development from Aix-Marseille University in France. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Cooperation and Development, with a specialization in Project Management, from Bordeaux III University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the State University of Haiti (UEH). With over six years of experience in project management, monitoring, and evaluation within international development projects, Mr. Metelus has collaborated with renowned international institutions and organizations. He has contributed to the implementation of various economic and social development programs in Haiti, working alongside organizations such as UNESCO, Initiative Développement, Unis-Cité, and GIADEL. In addition to his professional career, Mr. Metelus serves as a professor of project management and organizational communication at the University of Notre-Dame d’Haïti. His blend of academic and practical skills enables him to train the next generation of professionals while continuing to engage in impactful development projects. Mr. Metelus’s expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational communication, combined with his extensive international and academic experience, makes him

Jeff Valbrun is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in economic analysis, financial institutions, and academia. Based in Waltham, MA, Jeff has a proven track record of leadership and innovation, driving growth and efficiency across diverse sectors. His expertise includes statistical modeling, forecasting, business development, and client relationship management. Jeff’s career highlights include roles such as Economist-Financial Analyst at the Central Bank of Haiti, where he led a team and significantly improved forecasting accuracy and policy decisions. He also served as a Financial Institution Policy Analyst, enhancing payment system efficiency and regulatory policies. With a Master’s in Quantitative Economics and a background in project management, Jeff brings a detail-oriented approach and strategic acumen to every endeavor.
Jeff’s professional journey reflects his commitment to excellence and results-driven leadership. At the University of Michigan, he currently serves as a Research Assistant, leveraging his skills in R Studio, Tableau, and qualitative analysis to conduct impactful research. His background spans from managing payment systems at the Central Bank of Haiti to fostering business growth as a Senior Business Banker at Capital Bank Haiti. With a Bachelor of Business Administration and ongoing professional development in project management, Jeff combines analytical prowess with a proactive approach to driving organizational success and innovation.

David Zephyrin is an outstanding public health leader with 14 years of experience spanning medical practice, health services delivery, and public health management. A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), David has a proven track record in directing large-scale health initiatives and collaborating with international partners, including USAID, to develop strategic interventions aimed at improving healthcare systems and addressing infectious diseases, particularly in Haiti.
With a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of Haiti and advanced diplomas in HIV Management and Health Services Management from esteemed institutions like Paris-Diderot University and the University of Montréal, David has consistently demonstrated his commitment to public health excellence. His work has had a profound impact on promoting health equity, social justice, and healthcare access for vulnerable populations
