Dr. Moïse COMPERE Grew up in Cap-Haitian on the northern coast. He is a physician of more than 10 years with expertise in infectious diseases and Public health in remote areas. Organized and detail-oriented with high standards of performance and support of healthcare management and monitoring and evaluation, he worked as Medical Director at St. Boniface Hospital for three years. Prior to that, he attended many trainings such as in mental health at Douglas Hospital in Montreal in 2013, and later, he attended an advanced course on HIV/AIDS and an introduction to research organized by the European Aids Clinical Society at Aix-en- Province, Marseille, France. Compassionate and optimistic, he brings more than a decade of experience managing infectious disease programs for Partners in Health / Zanmi Lasante at various sites throughout Haiti, including Mirebalais University Hospital, Boucan Carré, Lascahobas, and Petite Rivière de l’Artibonite. Dr. Compere received his medical degree in 2009 from the State University of Haiti and has advanced training in public health including studies at Harvard University and the Free University of Brussels and Louvain Catholic University of Brussels.

A committed physician with over 13 years of experience serving the Limbé community in Haiti. His expertise includes HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis management, and he actively supports community healthcare initiatives.

Having grown up in Cap-Haitian,
Dr. Dwight ST. FLEUR is a well-trained physician with more than 13 years of practice experience in the county of Limbé (north of Haiti). Conscientious and dedicated to his community, he has been working as a general physician at Bon Samaritan Hospital in Limbé, since 2009. During this time, he was also the site manager of the HIV clinic for International Child Care (ICC) first (2012-2014), and later (2014-2015) for the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB). He has been engaged in several community initiatives to improve primary healthcare access in the community.

Dr. ST. FLEUR obtained his medical degree in 2009 from the State University of Haiti and
received some special training in the management of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis particularly
with I-Tech, NASTAD, and CDC.

A passionate healthcare leader with over 12 years of experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering primary healthcare across various regions in Haiti. He is a strong advocate for health equity and social justice, specializing in HIV/AIDS, emergency care, and community mobilization. Dr. François holds advanced degrees in Health Services Management and Administration, and he has worked extensively with vulnerable communities to ensure their access to healthcare and resources.

Dr. Lukenson FRANCOIS is a passionate health leader and a fervent advocate for health equity and social justice. He has been working for more than twelve(12) years in the planning, organization, coordination, evaluation, and delivery of primary healthcare through different regions in Haiti (North, North-East, North-West, Artibonite, West and Grand-Anse). He graduated in Medicine from the State University of Haiti in 2009 and has extensive experience in HIV/AIDS, emergency care, project management, and community mobilization. He obtained specific training in Canada in sustainable development, mental health, and family health. Dr. FRANCOIS has a specialized graduate studies diploma in Health Services Management and Administration from a program jointly developed by the State University of Haiti and the University of Montreal (UdM). He also obtained a master’s degree in health systems administration and policy at Montclair State University, U.S.A., with a Fulbright scholarship received from the Institute of International Education (IIE). Dr. François has built up a strong management background through the implementation of diverse projects and programs in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and a set of organizations in multiple relevant sectors in Haiti. In the U.S. he has been working with the most vulnerable communities, namely immigrants and LGBTQ+ people to uphold their rights and facilitate their access to health and health-related resources.

Her commitment to community impact led her to earn a master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Community Health Education. Since its inception, Mrs. Nazaire has played a vital role as secretary at LAKAY ACCES SANTE, demonstrating care and compassion in her work.

Mrs. Adestinee Tina Nazaire was born in Haiti and immigrated to the U.S. in 2008. Her passion for kids and education led her to work in this field for nearly a decade, namely with the Jewish Community Center and Cresthaven Academy. Originally from Haiti, Henricles Jeudy specializes in HIV/AIDS prevention, community health, and healthcare management. He holds an M.D. from Cuba and an MPH in Health Management and Policy from Georgia State University. Henricles has led initiatives to provide affordable healthcare to underserved populations in Haiti, including managing antiretroviral clinics and projects funded by The Global Fund and USAID. Currently, he works as an ORISE Fellow with the CDC, focusing on the social determinants of health to improve outcomes for marginalized communities.

Henricles Jeudy, originally from Haiti, is an exceptional Medical Doctor (M.D.) and public health professional, deeply committed to advancing health equity and improving community health outcomes. He earned his M.D. from the Escuela Latino Americana de Medicina in Cuba and later enhanced his expertise with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree specializing in Health Management and Policy, along with a Graduate Certificate in Maternal and Child Health from Georgia State University (GSU).
After completing his medical training, Henricles returned to Haiti in 2013, where he served as a
primary care provider and led various health initiatives aimed at delivering sustainable and affordable healthcare to underserved populations. His notable work includes managing antiretroviral clinics and coordinating significant projects funded by The Global Fund and USAID, which focused on strengthening healthcare systems and preventing the spread of HIV and tuberculosis. In recognition of his impactful work, Henricles was awarded a prestigious Fulbright scholarship to pursue his MPH at GSU, where he continued to excel in his commitment to public health. Following his graduation in 2023, he made a profound impact at CentraCare in Minnesota, bridging cultural and socioeconomic gaps between the Hispanic community and healthcare services. He now continues his influential work as an ORISE Fellow with the CDC’s Division of HIV Prevention, focusing on the social determinants of health. We are thrilled to welcome Henricles Jeudy to the Lakay Access Sante (LAS) team. His extensive experience, passion for serving underserved communities, and dedication to reducing health disparities will be invaluable as we work together to improve health outcomes for Haitian immigrants and beyond.

With over six years of experience in project management, monitoring, and evaluation within international development projects, Mr. Metelus has collaborated with renowned international institutions and organizations. He has contributed to the implementation of various economic and social development programs in Haiti, working alongside organizations such as UNESCO, Initiative Développement, Unis-Cité, and GIADEL. In addition to his professional career, Mr. Metelus serves as a professor of project management and organizational communication at the University of Notre-Dame d’Haïti.
