Welcome Alice, Our New Intern!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Alice, a recent college graduate who majored in Public Policy and Economics, to our internship program at Lakay Acces Sante.
Alice moved to the United States at the age of 14 to pursue her studies, living in California and North Carolina before settling in New York City. Her passion for social equity stemmed from her experiences living with host families of various cultural backgrounds in high school. These experiences not only helped her discover her identity as an international student but also sparked a deep interest in advocating for minority groups, especially first-generation immigrants.
Alice is eager to incorporate the diverse tools she learned in school to make real changes in people’s lives. She is very excited and honored to join and serve with Lakay Acces Sante this fall.
We look forward to seeing Alice’s contributions and working with her to continue making a difference in our community.
