Dr. Moïse COMPERE grew up in Cap-Haitian on the northern coast. He is a physician of more than 10 years with expertise in infectious diseases and Public health in remote areas. Organized and detail-oriented with high standards of performance and support of healthcare management and monitoring and evaluation, he worked as Medical Director at St. Boniface Hospital for three years. Prior to that, he attended many trainings such as in mental health at Douglas Hospital in Montreal in 2013, and later, he attended an advanced course on HIV/AIDS and an introduction to research organized by the European Aids Clinical Society at Aix-en-Province, Marseille, France. Compassionate and optimistic, he brings more than a decade of experience managing infectious disease programs for Partners in Health / Zanmi Lasante at various sites throughout Haiti, including Mirebalais University Hospital, Boucan Carré, Lascahobas, and Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite. Dr. Compere received his medical degree in 2009 from the State University of Haiti and has advanced training in public health including studies at Harvard University and the Free University of Brussels and Louvain Catholic University of Brussels.
